7.3. Registration and enrolment

Once a topic has been assigned, accepted and marked as “Registered and accepted” in the e-Secretaria, the student may register for the bachelor’s/master’s thesis within the time limits indicated on the academic calendar, provided that their academic record shows that they meet the final thesis enrolment requirements.

  1. Academic requirements for bachelor's theses: Students must have passed all compulsory credits and enrolled for the remaining credits.
  2. Academic requirements for master's theses: Students must have enrolled for all remaining credits.

To enrol for a bachelor’s thesis that carries 24 ECTS credits, select the 24 group. For an 18+6 bachelor's thesis, select the 06 group.

Students may apply for an extension of the final thesis defence period by submitting an application to defend their thesis during the extension session. Applications must be submitted within the time limits indicated below:

  • If the ordinary thesis defence session is in January, applications to defend a thesis in the extraordinary session held in May must be submitted in November.
  • If the ordinary thesis defence session is in June, applications to defend a thesis in the extraordinary session held in October must be submitted in April.
